C Class Non-conforming Fiber Optics Argos AIK Installation Tutorial

Preface: You may find that if you have a C Class AND it never had a phone system before, that some of the fiber optic cables are not in the position described in our manual. If you had a phone system from Mercedes before, you will not read any of this. You would simply replace the PSE with the ARGOS. (find the PSE in the Trunk per the Star Phone Bulletin for your car)

Step 1: Remove the fron passenger side kick panel

Step 2: You will locate the proper connections that need to be joined into the system here. Depending on options your car has (per the Star Phone Bulletin) you can join the proper pair.

Step 3: Install the ARGOS in the right side trunk compartment. This picture shows a car with no other factory options such as TeleAide or Voice Control.
Step 4: Mount the ARGOS to the bracket
