Limited Warranty

What the warranty covers
Cartronics.com and ECP, LLC warrants its products to be free from defects in material and workmanship during the warranty period. If a product proves to be defective in material or workmanship during the warranty period, ECP, LLC will, at its sole option, repair or replace the product with a similar product. Replacement product or parts may include remanufactured or refurbished parts or components. The replacement unit will be covered by the balance of time remaining on the customer's original limited warranty.

How long the warranty is effective
All products manufactured by ECP, LLC are warranted for one (1) year parts, starting at the day of purchase as indicated on the receipt. All other products are warranted under the term of the original manufacturer.

Who the warranty protects
The warranty is only valid for the first consumer purchaser.

What the warranty does not cover
The warranty does not cover any product on which the serial number or any labels has been defaced, modified or removed. It also does not cover damage, deterioration or malfunction resulting from accident, misuse, neglect, fire, water, lightning, or other acts of nature, unauthorized product modification, failure to follow instructions supplied with the product, removal or installation of the product, causes external to the product, such as electric power fluctuations or failure, any other cause which does not relate to a product defect.

Limitation of implied warranties
THERE ARE NO WARRANTIES, EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, WHICH EXTEND BEYOND THE DESCRIPTION CONTAINED HEREIN, INCLUDING THE IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.

Exclusion of damages
ECP,LLC LIABILITY IS LIMITED TO THE COST OF REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT OF THE PRODUCT ONLY. ECP,LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

  • DAMAGE TO OTHER PROPERTY CAUSED BY ANY DEFECTS IN THE PRODUCT, DAMAGES BASED UPON INCONVENIENCE, LOSS OF USE OF THE PRODUCT, LOSS OF TIME, LOSS OF PROFITS, LOSS OF BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY, LOSS OF GOODWILL, INTERFERENCE WITH BUSINESS RELATIONSHIPS, OR OTHER COMMERCIAL LOSS, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
  • COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH REMOVAL AND REFIT OF THE PRODUCT.
  • ANY OTHER DAMAGES, WHETHER INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR OTHERWISE.

ANY CLAIM AGAINST THE CUSTOMER BY ANY OTHER PARTY

Effect of local law
This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from locality to locality. Some localities do not allow limitations on implied warranties and/or do not allow the exclusion of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitations and exclusions may not apply to you.

Properly installed Argos and iTronicBT devices qualify for a 30 day money back guarantee*. We will accept returns of these devices for any reason of dissatisfaction of performance with the following conditions:

*Uninstalled or unopened Argos and iTronic devices are subject to a 20% restocking fee.

All other devices and accessories are non-refundable, repair, store credit or exchange only.

UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCE IS CARTRONICS.COM (ECP, LLC) LIABLE FOR COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH INSTALLATION OR REMOVAL UNLESS DONE ON OUR PREMISES.
