The PASSPORT 9500ci comes complete with owner's manual and installation guide, separate miniature controller and text display, front-mounted radar receiver, twin front-mounted laser receivers/shifters, rear license plate mounted laser receiver/shifter, 12-volt interface module, GPS antenna, 12-volt amplified speaker, display bezel, bi-color LED, and all mounting hardware. We can even mount the display discretely in your rear view mirror (as seen above). Unlike others that offer to integrate the 9500ci display into a factory or aftermarket mirror we do not etch an unsightly pattern out of your mirror. Instead we have developed a proprietary process for converting the glass coating to a custom transflective mirror that allows the display to illuminate through the glass and then vanishes when turned off. Mirrors with auto dimming will function normally!

The unit uses the license free 904nm laser frequency. The same frequency as used by several car manufacturers' (e.g. Nissan, Toyota) adaptive cruise control systems. Police laser guns also use the same 904 nm frequency. The LDP uses the same laser frequency to warn you of nearby objects when manuvering your car AND interferes with police laser speed guns which prevents them from getting an accurate speed reading until you are very close to them. This gives you time to adjust your speed.
